Trunk or Treat

We had trunk or treat with our ward last night. The kids had a good time going from trunk to trunk and afterwards we got to go inside for doughnuts and hot chocolate. Although this year the hot cocoa was kind of a loss since it's been about 60 degrees all week(what a Halloween miracle!).

Halloween Day

On Thursday Kailer got to wear a costume to pre-school for Halloween Day. They had decorated cookies, spooky fruit snacks, lots of Halloween games and books, and lots of fun. He came home with quite a few treats, crafts, and a new pirate book.

Pretty Flowers

Brian got me a dozen roses the other day. The kids decided to add their touch of play dough and dog food. Nothing stays pretty at our house for long.

Zzz

Katie Beth went and layed down on the bathroom floor while her dad was in the bath. She was mad at me because I wouldn't give her any more popcicles. She was asleep in half a minute.

Witch Dance

This week for dance, Katie Beth got to dress up in a costume for Halloween. The girls got to play fun games, dance with a black light and a strobe with their mommies, and got a bag full of treats.

We carved out our pumpkins from the pumpkin patch tonight. Great fun.

We went up past Kelly Canyon for a little fun today. We had a campfire with hot dogs and marshmellows, which was a lovely dinner. Brian got to practice shooting with his 2 new guns and thought he was the bomb. Kai got to practice shooting his cap gun as well. It was fun to get away for a little while and let the kids roam free.
