Leo's Place

We took the kiddos to Leo's Place to get there wiggles out after being trapped inside for the week. It is a small relief for the cabin fever they have...
They love Leo's, and had sooo much fun.

Mi Familia

A little about the Jensens...

Brian and I have been married for a little over 5 years now. We have two beautiful kids, Kailer who is almost 3 and Katie Beth who just turned 2. We live in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and we pretty much love it here. We are however, excited for the week of summer between winter and winter. We have a lovely home and a wonderful life. Really we are blessed and when it comes down to it, what is there really to complain about. Brian works at the INL and he loves his job. I am mostly a stay at home mom, but i do work at Kohl's some nights and weekends. Love the extra money and the discount. Most weeks I come home with a paycheck:).. Brian is a gamer and I love to shop and we kinda like each other. We met at BYU-I, and we were married 8 months later.

Brian grew up in San Jose, California. He served a mission in Brasilia, Brazil. And then he met me. I grew up in North Carolina, and woo hoo!

Katelyn Elisabeth Jensen

This is my sweet drama mama Katie Beth. She just turned 2 in January and tries to act like she is 12. Katie Beth loves to play babies...and loves to be one. Her daily activity is holding, feeding, petting, kissing, loving, napping, and throwing her dolls. Oh does she love them. She loves her Kailer and keeps a constant watch on him. No matter how mean or rough he is with her, she just keeps coming back for more. Mommy loves to do all the girly things with her and has her addicted to clothes, shoes, shopping, and hair. Our favorite thing about sissa is her super silly faces...

Katie Beth wanted to come into the world all to early. Mommy had to go on bedrest for premature labor at about 27 weeks. When the doctor finally gave up fighting, she came only 2 weeks early. About 6 hours after she was born, she got really really sick. She tested positive for Strep B and was put in critical condition in the NICU and was put on
several heavy antibiotics. The doctors said if they hadn't of caught it that day, the infection would have spread to her brain, and she wouldn't have made it. After spending her week in the NICU she was allowed to come home with us with on IV therapy with an in home nurse. We are so blessed that she is such a strong little girl. We keep telling her she can't copy everything her brother does, that was it. Now she is a silly little 2 year old. It's amazing how much she changes and learns everyday, I can't believe she isn't my baby anymore. I'm so sad, but it is exciting to watch her grow and become all that she is.

Kailer Wessman Jensen

Kailer is crazy! He is 3 and will be turning 4 in March! I am having trouble adjusting to the fact that i almost have a 4 year old. Wow how time flies. Kailer is really really big for his age. He weighs in at about 60 pounds...he is not chunky...just huge. Kailer loves thomas the train and anything that is on the go. He is a pretty good big brother, he makes sure nobody messes with Katie Beth...except himself. There lies the problem, but he loves her most days. We are so excited for summer so that he can get rid of his cabin fever....mommy can't wait. Here is a little about Kai....

He had a little bit of a rough start in life. Mom went into labor at 30 weeks and had to be on strict bedrest and take lots and lots of medicine to keep Kai from being so so early. He finally arrived 5 weeks early and even with all the extra help he had, he was placed in critical condition in the NICU the moment he was born. He had pneumonia and was just very sick. He was the little giant of the NICU. Even being preemie he still weighed in at 7 pounds 8 ounces. After almost about a week and a half in the NICU, he suddenly turned a corner and was better. We are so lucky to have him and we love him so much. After his rough start, he just keeps growing and growing. He just potty trained himself in January and we are so excited about that. He is a little behind on his speech and language, but he amazes us everyday at how he is improving.
