Ears and Tears

Photobucket
Katie Beth got here ears pierced today! I prepped her before hand and told her it was going to hurt for 5 minutes, but then they would be really pretty. She was really brave and said that was fine, she sat in the chair and wasn't scared at all.
Photobucket
She had a 3 second delayed reaction, and then came the big alligator tears. She cried for about 3 minutes and then she whimpered for another 5.
Photobucket
So happy because "now I am a beautiful princess, and I look like aunt Suzannie".
Photobucket
She got to pick out a few pairs of earrings to wear when she can change them out. She was so excited.
Photobucket
I can't believe she is such a big girl now. I love my big girl!

4 months

ahhhhh! Kodee will be 4 months old this week. I can't believe how fast she is growing and it makes me so sad! Here are a few things that we love about our KoKo.
*She looks even more like me than Katie Beth does.
*She has more hair than the other 2 kids did when they were babies.
*She is a rolie polie and rolls all over the place. We can't leave her alone for a second.
*She is a fat baby and we call her musha musha.
*Her legs are bigger in width than in length.
*Her eyes are still blue. I thought for sure those baby blues were fleeting.
*She is a great sleeper. She sleeps through the night, every night.
*She loves to laugh.
*She is a freak about heights.
*She has a birth mark on the back of her neck the same place as Kailer.
*She is sass. Katie Beth is sissa.
*She had her first time with out mom or dad when we took Kai to school.
*She only poops every couple of days, and it's always in her car seat. How many times can your wash that thing before it starts to disintegrate?
*She always smiles with her mouth wide open.
Kodee is pretty much the best baby ever.

cupcake cuties

Photobucket
Katie Beth had been dying to make cupcakes so she could dress up as a baker. So we did.
Photobucket
She was using the mixer as a mirror and singing into it while we were waiting for them to be done. Silly girl.
Photobucket
Oh and Brian took a cupcake to the face. Your welcome.

train ride

We went for an hour long train ride through Idaho Falls on Friday night. Of coarse Kailer loved it. Now all he can talk about is how is doesn't want to be a passenger anymore, he wants to be the engineer and the driver. We told him he has to grow bigger like daddy first. So now he comes and asks us every little while if he has grown big and strong into a man yet. We love our train man.

3 months

Kodee is 3 months already. Where has the time gone. This month she has discovered her fist as her built in passy, starting laughing and talking to us, developed even chunkier thighs (we call her peg legs because her legs are like 1/10th of her total body length), completed her bald spot on the back of her head, turned over, and she scoots backwards on her back all over her room. She's a mess, and we love every bit of it.

my 3 bambinos.

we got some more of our baby toys out of storage. i keep finding this:

Scootaloo

I bought Kai a razor scooter a week or so ago. I got it for a really good deal, so I bought it and was just going to put it up for later. I told Brian to put it somewhere the kids wouldn't find it. He chose a spot in the garage beside the kids bikes. Yes I know he's genius. Needless to say Kai found it, so Brian opened it up and gave it to him. I hadn't gotten around to getting Katie Beth one yet, so she was left in tears. Don't worry..we went that night and got here one too. Hmmphh.
